For the past 15 years, I have worked as a Final Cut Pro and Premiere Editor under my company Artola Digital. I am also a teacher and have taught Adobe Creative Cloud at Parsons; fine arts and documentary film-making through Creative Art Works; and over a decade of group and private editing lessons, including at New York Film Academy and DCTV. I have written editing manuals which have been used at Parsons and SVA. My client list includes United Nations Development Programme, David Lee Roth, Chashama, Glassnote Records, Better Homes and Gardens, SXSW Festivals and Conferences, HarperCollins, Pier 59, Manoj Baviskar, BMI, Phil Niblock/ Experimental Intermedia, Duston Spear, Dance Movement Workshop, Cage Gallery, Roosevelt House, and Meredith Monk/ House Foundation.
Additionally, I am an artist with a strong practice in painting and drawing, audio responsive projection and interactive installation. My themes include animal alterity, land politics, and poetry as a tool for transformation. My work has been shown internationally and nationally including at PS1 MOMA, Ramis Barquet Gallery, Museum of Natural History, Harvestworks, Galapagos Art Space, Andrew Roth Gallery, The Wild Project, and Pioneerworks. I also co-created (with Thomas Martinez) a sound responsive VJ software called “APE” (Audio Peak Etcher).
I look forward to learning about your projects and any ways I could contribute.
