SKY
“…and also with you” is a multiplatform project on refugees and the organizations that support them. This iteration, SKY, is a six-part web series funded by a grant from the NYFA. It focuses primarily on three women, Honduran refugees, whom Miah interviewed at the Mexico City shelter, CAFEMIN. It is made with original drawings, paintings, and artwork by Miah Artola; poetry performances by Anne Waldman; Original footage by Miah Artola shot in Mexico City and the Yucatan, as well as Nicaragua, Texas, and NYC
